Abstract:In view of the fourpoint wear failure at the top and dead center of first ring of cylinder liner after durability test, the simulation analysis of cylinder liner, piston and piston ring are proposed. The results shows that the excessive deformation of cylinder liner in hot state is the main cause of fourpoint wear of cylinder liner. The improvements such as widening and thickening the upper top surface of the engine body, adding transverse and vertical reinforcement on the main thrust side and deputy thrust side of the engine body at the first ring position of the cylinder liner, thickening the lower part of the support shoulder of the engine body, are adopted to improve the rigidity of the engine body. The simulation results show that the deformation of the first ring of the cylinder liner is 16% lower than that of the original one, the contact pressure between the first ring and the cylinder liner is more uniform, and the clearance between the first ring and the cylinder liner is reduced by 78%，the abnormal wear of the first ring of the cylinder liner is improved.
